Microsoft had relaesed a working preview of thier new search engine, it looks nice. I tried it out some and it found the links and pages I hoped it would. Why did expect anything but that, I have no idea.

Snoqualmie Brewery and Taproom

On Monday April 27 2009 we visited the Snoqualmie Brewery and Taproom, it was a great place, and these were some very good beers and ales.

Frank and I (with our designated driver “Kathy”) started out with the sampler and I quicky added a IPA to the order. If you are an ale drinker they had two very interesting ales to try, The Spring Fever Belgian Style Grand Cru Ale and The PGA Amber.  Both of them had tons of favor and mild on the bitterness.

For the porter drinkers and the stout drinkers they had  The Steam Train Porter,  which Frank said he could drink all day long.

Me being the IPA drinker, I went straight to the Wildcat IPA, with 75 bitterness units I was a happy bitter beer drinker.

Me Complaining

Most of you know that I am a truckdriver, and that I drive to the Seattle area. I have commented before on how nobody seems  to know how to merge into traffic any more but today I have a two new complaints. If you are driving in the middle lane at 5o mph because it is rainy out and you don’t feel safe let me give you three tips, move to the right where slower traffic lives, turn on your headlights so others can see you in their mirrors, and when you give trucks that pass you on the right at 65 mph dirty looks we are not moved to behave better. The second thing is if you see a truck taking up two lanes with a right turn signal showing he is turning right, needs to turn wide, and needs the lanes. If you sneak into the right lane don’t worry, we do see you there, but if we are having a bad day will may scare you just for fun. That’s it,  I’ll stop complaining.

PS.  I always look out for cars, and people, and I’ll lend a hand in traffic any way I can, offer me the same and we will get along great.  You visit the road, I work here. (50 weeks a year my truck goes from Ohio to Seattle, thats about 250,000 miles a year)
